Air is a fluid; gases & liquids are both fluids

Absolutely, but hard to say if they’ll manage to benefit much from that position. I’m really curious what the specs (…and price…) of the iPhone 18 will be.

Honestly I would have been surprised if they came to save the day, why would they subvention our broken economic system? If they ever enter the market (outside China) I doubt they would undercut memory suppliers that much.

AI traning on AI producing content is called poisoning and can be devastating even if a tiny part of the training set is poison. Stripping this mark makes AI companies unable to detect it as training poison, so it might make it posible for poisoning to occur on a larger scale, which is kind of inevitable as they’re scraping literally all they can & AI generated content is now inevitably part of the training pool
That’s not what democratic socialism is. That’s social democracy – Capitalism with some kind of social net. It fails for the same reasons capitalism eventually fails; usually after failing as a social democracy first, because capitalist elites will cause corruption & dismantling of the safety net (as is going on everywhere in Europe)
Edit: It’s turning my double dashes to emdashes, I didnt chatgpt this :(
I’ve read somewhere (which means it’s highly reliable) that they’re trying to work in isolation to be self-sufficient, is that wrong?

Lmfao we went from
capitalism is better because it fits human nature
To
humane nature is being bad therefore China can’t be better to its citizens than the US
???

I think you meant prescribe instead of proscribe (one means “recommend” the other means “forbid”)

Yeah but AI enables incompetent people. I feel like having to work on something would make you learn enough not to fuck up too bad, generally. But with AI you don’t need to learn or research, you can just ask chatGPT to do whatever and call it a day, if you’re careless enough

damn, I wonder what the american backed Syrian regime will do

If the code is GPL they’ll generally be scared to use it. I agree with you for non-copyleft open source though
oranges, bananas and other “Southern Fruit” were mostly a Christmas special
It was true for most of Europe afaik, unless you’re speaking about like the 80s I suppose, but oranges being a christmas thing was true for my grandparents as well (not in Germany)

Some other people said it’s in the github but obfuscated as base64

Have they? Piracy used to be extremely widespread even among people who didn’t know much about computers, and recent reports in Australia show that 85% of teens use VPNs to bypass restrictions. In countries with restricted such as China & Russia, VPNs are tools that are near universal.
Also, the current French president (along his government) is on the way out, the next elections are next year, there is no telling how long the law will remain in effect.

In a bubble, I’d agree with you on Steam vs. Sony vs. GOG.
But you can’t just analyze purely based on principles and logic, there are real life precedents for Sony removing content people purchased with no refund nor any form of customer outreach.
This has never happened on Steam, so in my view you can’t equate Sony and Steam. I would say GOG is better than Steam if GOG didn’t send nazi shit to people.
Same for BG3, but I ended up liking the combat a lot. Going back to Pillars of Eternity afterwards felt bad 😅 but it’s a different kind of turn-based altogether, with positioning being extremely important
I found the feints way more annoying in E33 than in Elden Ring. In ER they’re mostly found in bosses, but in E33 they’re pretty much everywhere, so even trash mobs can be tedious
Well for me it’s the other way around. I can’t stand turn based combat, it’s an instant turn-off, but E33 spiced it up just enough for me to enjoy it
Marketing being stupid again. But it’s just an artisan keycap, they usually do cozt around this price, I find them neat 😅
