Implants are (to me) some lovectaftian horror shit. I’m missing a tooth between my incisor and my front teeth, and after reading about the implant procedure decided I’m fine being mistaken for a hockey player. Looks kinda tough

Congratulations on passing the summit of the Dunning-Krueger arc! Now everything comes with a fun little shadow of doubt! Say goodbye to absolute certainty!

How about living for them instead? Dedicate your life to them while it’s still valuable.

I guess I’ll use the browser where I’m not certain anyone at the top is a creep vs the one where I am certain. Not sure what your point it even.

4·15 days agoGame is dead now, the devs introduced aggression based matchmaking because lots of us were sick of pointless pvp, that initially made it better, then sweats figured out how to game the matchmaking and get peaceful lobbies and just kill everyone. Haven’t made it through a run in weeks so I just stopped playing, after more than 100 hours. If you like the sweatiest Rust players, ARC is awesome.

24·16 days agoStay the fuck off Plumbago thanks, Maine doesn’t want it’s mountain tops chopped off like fucking West Virginia. I love that since we have a state ban on metal extraction, and even though the lithium is bound as a silicate mineral (spudomeme, sp) it’s technically a metal and that’s prevented it’s extraction so far.
Also they are the largest lithium crystals found, I believe, anywhere. We’re talking 30ft long tree trunk sized crystals embedded in matrix, some of which have been exposed and are insanely cool to look at. The site is on private land but it’s not terribly difficult to get in contact with folks who have permission up there. Maine has a very long history of mineral extraction, and some of the richest gem deposits in North America, but the size of this locality and the type of mining proposed would be a massive problem for a relatively pristine area of Northern Mixed Hardwood and Conifer forest, not to mention the very small towns in the area that would be entirely transformed in the process.

I’m sure I have had a few gincidents but thankfully none came with receipts.
