Nice, that one got me. Happy two year Lemmyversary btw!
I agree with silverchase that Draftsim and mock drafts are good practice. Then just really get in the reps with one draft format you like. Every draft format is similar enough that perfecting one will pay off when you try another.
Final Fantasy draft guides are about to come out so if you like the look of the set it seems as good to start there as anywhere.
Two resources I like for drafting content are Nizzahon (YouTube) and Lords of Limited (Podcast, YouTube). Glhf!
I just avoid the word entirely at work. ‘Twice a week’ and ‘twice a month’ take the same amount of time to say. Even ‘every two weeks’ is barely longer.
straight
This is clearly vitally critical to how we’re supposed to interpret the rest of the greentext
I’m a big fan of a few of Ghibli’s films but I feel the same way about others. The whimsical and somewhat metaphorical quality of most of them can really lessen their emotional impact imo.
If you’re ever interested in trying an animated Japanese film from another studio and writer, I can highly recommend Your Name.
The format balance is healthy but it’s just boring seeing the engine/staple cards for so long. Beans and Rage are perfectly fine power-wise but they just set the deck types way too much and everything has to conform to those cards. Sure, the threats have changed but the framework is stagnant
Good bans. I still hate long standard but not much to be done about that.
There are many protests, more than there were in 2017, but they are mostly smaller in attendance. The difference is the media coverage. And you are right, there hasn’t been a single event like the Women’s March that has broken through to international coverage.

This article does almost seem written to downplay the book’s most damaging claims. They buried the Myanmar story at the end and the detailed account the author gave to the carelessness with which the execs treated the riots and violence. Another anecdote missing from this article is how they are pushing weight loss and beauty ads to teen girls right when they delete a recently taken selfie and how execs responded when this was brought up. Not that that is news exactly as we already know Meta does that sort of thing
This sounds great. If you end up writing something for the other commenter using a Linux server and the Messenger bridge I would love to hear if there were any pitfalls to avoid!
Yeah there is some cool and powerful stuff in the set but there are just too many tried and true strategies. I don’t think I’m a fan of this long rotation.
Surprised there isn’t more oculus in the top 8. Didn’t realize overlords were still so dominant.
Pretty notable that there are almost no Aetherdrift cards in these lists, though that graveyard deck is pretty cool - it just looks way too fair
I think it refers to a cap (hat), because culturally when you take off your cap it means you are being truthful. Similar to the term “hat in hand”
I looked into it more and seems like the origins of cap meaning to lie is unclear. So looks like I was off base
They might like thar type of content at !wizards@lemmy.world, which has 1k subscribers already.
Am I making a mistake by having my Jellyfin server proxied through nginx? The other service I set up did need to be public so I just copied the same thing when I set up Jellyfin but is that a liability even with a password to access?
Hama might be Sultai
Aang is 5C on at least one mythic
Amon is Esper
Zaheer is Mardu
I dunno there’s probably better choices but these were what I thought of. Is there a website that has a copy of every public domain music file?
Yeah, same. It just gets better and better. I do sometimes wonder how it would appeal to people who don’t play D&D. Though I never followed Critical Role and like it so I guess that’s a point in its favor.
Stonks!
