And we were also a “former gifted student” who was just unmedicated AuDHD with special interests that aligned well with certain school subjects. It’s really sad thinking about it, we used to love learning because we did it for fun. We used to love sport and being active for the same reason. We’re still trying to rediscover that joy to this day. We had nightmares about showing up to a fitness test “too fat” for the better part of a decade after we stopped competing. This is incredibly interesting, I hope the final report includes specific details of the data corruption and what they did to fix it. Actually it’s more interesting because the fix is reverting to a previous software version so they somehow introduced a vulnerability to single event upsets I’m guessing. I’d love to know how often these sort of events happen (not just when they cause issues but bit-flips in general). I know that flying high they are exposed to higher levels of radiation than on the ground.

Doing this proactively after a single incident instead of waiting for a crash to force their hand means it’s not a very lore-accurate cosplay.

The “European democracies” already undermined themselves by allowing capital to exert as much control as they want, and just allowing themselves to be vassalized by the USA. They join the USA in funding and supporting fascists and engage in regime change all over the world in order to continue to extract super profits from the global south so that they can stay rich and placate their own citizens by sharing some of that stolen wealth.

And this whole war was a result of a plan to exploit Ukraine’s human and material resources in a similar way, with the ultimate goal of doing the same to Russia. This is why the west has been supporting Banderite neo nazis in Ukraine for many decades.

The fascists lost WWII but won the Cold war. The DDR had far better gender equality, gay rights, and trans rights than the BRD.

Parties like BSW accept and attempt to work within the divisions among the working class along ethnicity, gender, sexuality, and disability status that were created by the ruling class in order to prevent the development of class consciousness. But into doing so they reinforce these divisions and allow themselves and class consciousness to be weakened. All while promoting bigotry. That is why I oppose them. Not because of their positions on Russia.

I understand that here and in many of the irl circles I roll in that this statement is taken for granted, but it’s still really nice to have research that backs it up too.

Really disappointing even if expected. Arduino μC boards had the lowest barrier to entry out of any I’ve seen to the point where I’ve used them often for hobby projects over better performing dev boards. I even used them professionally a few times in a pinch when I didn’t have the time/budget to bring up the project on a first party dev board.
