TL;DR: There’s a mod on their instance, @_cryptagion@lemmy.dbzer0.com. The mod in question says, “all 27 million Soviet citizens killed by the nazis deserved it.” This was 9 months after having been educated on the fact that that number includes many civilian holocaust victims. The server owner, db0, thinks these are cool views to express and not indicative of nazism. The server owner got very mad that we called for this nazi to be banned, and pretended we were making this all up.

Now if only they’d get rid of neonazis they’d be cool.

The “missing nemesis records” thing appears to be a kind of obscure issue and the DFHack team isn’t totally sure of the consequences. It could cause dwarves on missions to vanish and may cause some crashes. I suppose until we start seeing major issues I’m on team ‘pretend everything is ok’

I honestly think RPGs should by default have no voice acting. That should be the standard. Voice acting just so heavily constrains the writing, and bogs down the development. Writers can’t just write as much bullshit as they want because every single line has to take up time in a fucking studio.
