Seems like they are working towards making a short film. I’m not too familiar with their background or current status but they seem quite popular. I have heard that apparently they learned to animate in Photoshop.

I am quite excited for this

This is beautiful

HAHA

Everything about this is fascinating to me. A mother and son spend 5 years and apparently just $200 to make an animated film. The animation is terrible. It predictably flops. But after about a week in theaters it goes insanely viral and all of a sudden it’s now the most profitable relative to budget box office of all time.

Based on comments I’ve seen from people that have seen it, it’s a so bad it’s good type of movie, but some people actually did enjoy parts of the story and the music.

There’s a fucking hand drawn movie theater poster for it too:

I love this lol

Oh right. It’s been a while since I saw it, my brain just slotted it in 3D CG. Must have been a cool experience to see the puppets in real life.

Nimona, Wild Robot, Puss in Boots The Last Wish, TMNT Mutant Mayhem, The Mitchells vs the Machines, The Bad Guys, Flow, Guillermo del Toro’s Pinocchio, Rango

It’s been so long since I watched Ponyo, I barely remember anything about it. Definitely due for a rewatch.

Personally I think it was fine. Each Korra season had a story and an arc. I wouldn’t call it being stitched up. A full series overarching plot would be nice but imo it’s not super important.

Hey, not at all. I would consider it perfectly on-topic for here. Please keep them coming. I’ve been fairly busy the past few weeks so I appreciate you and the others that have been posting regularly.

This looks lovely. Thanks for sharing

They’re still making Common Side Effects. We’re supposed to get more info and I believe a screening of season 2 as well during the upcoming Annecy Festival in a few weeks.

I don’t know much about Warrior Cats but it seems to be surprisingly huge.

Another favorite

That was very funny

I liked it, it’s just not in my favorite as I was making this image.

Secret of Kells was 2009 and Big Hero 6 was 12 years ago but it’s fine. Close enough.
