For whatever reason, I have seen a lot of turkey vultures this year and they’re so underrated and awe-inspiring. Saw a massive flock pass overhead and it was like watching dragons coming from the horizon.

This is how the stray I took in let me know she preferred eating outside. She picked up her bowl in her teeth and left a trail of beef chunks across the house, carrying the bowl outside to her preferred spot. We’ve agreed on eating outside when it’s nice and inside when it’s wet.
