I’m reading Wil Wheaton’s book “Still Just A Geek”, and I feel like he’d really enjoy this comic.

The drawings of Hobbes’ different positions in this comic are amazing. Watterson is an incredible artist.

I’m reminded of an exercise we did when I was in 9th grade: “Write down how much money you want to make per year!” What a pointless exercise. I had no idea how much things cost. Inflation is a thing. And I ended up moving to an area that was much more expensive than where we lived while I was in school. I’m pretty sure my first real job out of grad school paid more than what I had written down, but I certainly wasn’t rolling in cash.

Roasts are intended to be good natured. Insults from friends who actually like you a lot. They aren’t meant to be taken seriously. And it’s done with the consent of the roastee. Not everyone has skin thick enough for it.

No, those are the two most expensive properties, right by the Go. Everyone wants to buy them because they see the huge rent price, but it turns out that people seem to land on those spaces only rarely.

And, really, the winner will almost certainly be determined by who owns the middle-priced properties. I’m too lazy to look them up, but it’s the ones that are essentially opposite the Go space on the board. It’s a fascinating commentary.

If anyone else is wondering what that surgery is, it’s to remove bald spots.

Recommend not searching it, the pictures were not great (not showing the surgery, but the results). I’m sure you’ve seen much worse, but why take the hit?
