I thought that seemed a bit high, but you’re right. Halo 3 was around 6.3GB and Reach was closer to 9. Genuinely thought they’d be way smaller than that.

Which should be optional, especially for consoles. If you’re playing through a TV, using the inbuilt speakers and sitting a couple of metres away, there is no advantage to uncompressed textures and audio.

Hot take: games don’t need to be 256GB. Even 10GB is pushing it.

Fallout Community Edition, a reverse-engineered open-source reimplementation of the original engine. There’s also a version for FO2. It specifically says Fallout Et Tu is unsupported, but there’s no real reason it shouldn’t work, so… best of both worlds!

The generative summaries have the potential to take clicks / visitors away from the sites they’re from. I’ve seen reports of smaller sites being at risk of closing down as a result, and if there are no sites to summarise…

I know it barely scratches the surface, but the Accessibility settings menu has an option to disable animations. Failing that, there are settings within Developer Options (yes, I know) to speed up or disable most animations.
