I meant “it easily could have been” in the sense that it if it hadn’t been taken seriously, it would affected virtually everyone in some way.

Never do this. Absolutely never. It’s far more likely that you’ll injure the victim (or yourself) in the attempt.

Furthermore, don’t restrain a seizure victim in any way unless it’s absolutely necessary for their physical safety (like if they’re in danger of falling down a stairway. Even then, it’s usually better to just stand at the top step and act as a barrier). Whenever possible, move things they may hit out of their way; don’t try to move the victim. If there’s something you can’t move, try to put something soft between the victim and the object.

Most of the time, the best thing you can do for a seizure victim is to not touch them at all, and simply give them room.

Just to play devils advocate, there are certain people that I don’t want to see naked, and certain kinds of sex that I NEVER want to see. I can imagine that some of that would be considered traumatizing.

Ah. I didn’t realize that Meta considered them “whistleblowers”. It’s still a shitty thing to do, but shitty is what corporations excel at.

I don’t understand why the outsourcing firm was punished. As far as I can tell, a thousand people are losing their jobs for no reason. This wasn’t their fault, and I don’t see what problem is being solved here. It makes absolutely no sense.

If it was just a thermometer in someone’s back yard, then I’d agree with @dogslayeggs. You’re right, though: it’s not okay to mess with official public records. It may be funny, and a good way to make a few bucks (or euros, or francs, or whatever), but it’s not okay.

I love Hank. He’s the kind of guy you’d want as a neighbor. Yeah, he has his own religious and political opinions, but he’ll always treat you with fairness and respect.
