the amount of alt-tabbing would drive me crazy. I have four monitors for work so I can have my main software up, some file explorer tabs, spec sheets and other documents (journals, calculations, etc), and Teams and/or a meeting window.
if I didn’t have so many meetings, I could drop one monitor. if I weren’t required to be so accessible, I could drop another. both of those are smaller 1080p ones only. but I absolutely can not work effectively with just one monitor, 2x 1440p is just enough pixels to fit what I want to see at once
interesting, I found that for landscapes, my phone was simply so much easier and roughly as good as my DSLR
I brought my DSLR on trips for high shutter speeds, zoom, and low light. taking wide photos during the day? just snap with the phone while the canoe is on your shoulders

I will never understand why android removed the ability to easily set notifications per app and per contact. my blackberry and my first android were great for that

I tend to not go to any chain restaurants at all anymore. I have one exception for the local bar that has super cheap prices and good food. otherwise, I go to privately owned restaurants and bars
who the fuck wants to pay $9 for a beer at Kelsey’s where you can get ignored by your server for 20 minutes when trying to get the bill that shows you paid $25 for bland food, then be expected to tip the person already making a bit more than minimum wage $10 for the literally 2.5 minutes of service they gave you. no thanks

that’s pretty much how I used to supervise when I was a happy employee with a small competent team
didn’t matter that I was in meetings all the time, you’d get a detailed answer within a few minutes so you could keep working.
