  • Adults cane be weirdly petty about kids winning games.

I barely beat my aunt and grandma at a game of scrabble when I was around 13 by playing the word “ulu,” a type of Alaskan knife. It let me triple word score and clear my rack. I had no idea it was a valid word, but it was and it pushed me to a win.

The whining and complaining about that win nearly ruined the whole night.

  • Gonna be a long wait. NEOM is canceled in all but name:

Much of the city was planned to be completed by 2030, as it is one of the focal points of Saudi Vision 2030.[7] Experts expressed skepticism about the ambitions of the megaproject.[8] Initially estimated to cost $1.6 trillion,[2] the project’s estimated costs were by 2025 in excess of $8.8 trillion (more than 25 times the annual Saudi budget).[9] By July 2022, only two buildings had been constructed, and most of the project area remained bare desert.[10] In 2024, Neom was reported to have been substantially scaled back from its original plan.[9][11] An internal audit of the megaproject found extensive problems, including “evidence of deliberate manipulation”, by the managers of the project.[9] By 2025, new contracts for Neom dried up and there was no mention of Neom in Saudi Arabia’s pre-budget statement for 2026.[12] In March 2026, large contracts for tunneling work[13] and the Trojena ski resort were cancelled.[14]

  • Hilariously if this is internal only, it may be “secure in transit” as most mail doesnt flow over SMTP in that case. Some vendors, including m365, also encrypt mail by default between other m365 users, and I think all of gmail last I checked.

If that password isn’t then deleted from email or is otherwise archived automatically, then you have problems.

    Not the mama!

Apparently the show was one of Jim hensen’s ideas, and the concept was what he was working on when he passed away. Wikipedia says it was only greenlit because of the success of the Simpsons, which showed an oddball sitcom could work, which it did for 4 years.

Less than .00001% of transactions, maybe, mainly because bitcoin has hilarious transactions fees. It can easily cost you $8 to pay for a $1 stick of gum, and that transaction will still not clear for a dozen minutes. Its just non viable in the real world.

Mostly you can change crypto to an actual currency. That’s just whatever.
