Whats spurring this? Olympics are over for two years. Parks and Rec re-runs and Days of Our Lives don’t have enough viewers to justify this price increase.

It was meh and not very many episodes. Felt like half of a season of mostly setup material. Nice art direction though. A lot of potential, but season two will be its “make or break” moment. Waiting two years for another six episodes isn’t going to help its chances either.
Probably worth a watch once season two comes out, but so far not worth signing up for HBO just to watch.

How long until Disney starts filling its streaming channel with reality programming and game shows? Maybe some professional wrestling while they’re at it?

Zaslaved!
It’s a shame we’ve returned to a system where canceled productions can’t shop their program to other outlets.

Cutting just the military budget would get this paid off the fastest. The US spends almost a trillion per year on defense. Cut that in half and dedicate the other half to paying off the debt.

I’d be interested to know if the US debt is like a mortgage — where if you pay off the principal, that 40 trillion number goes down a lot faster.
I also wonder how much debt the US is owed by other countries. Could we do some debt swaps to pay it down even faster?

Smells like flop to me. 🤷♂️

I was just thinking to myself, I might watch this if it had some the original cast in it. Guess what, it does! I guess I’m gonna have to watch this.

But Castle Rock was canceled. Make it make sense. 🙄

I don’t think I’ve read Rapport yet. I might give it a try.

I couldn’t finish it. It felt like it was written by a ghost writer or AI. I really enjoyed the first few books, but I think I’m giving up on this series at this point.

Amazon taking lessons from Netflix. We all saw how The Witcher turned out.

Disney+ doesn’t have much of anything on deck these days, does it? They killed the Star Wars that laid the golden eggs, and now they’ve canceled a bunch of Marvel plans. Is new leadership in the pipeline?

Still watching Silo. Still fast forwarding through the “current day” storyline. They spent 30 minutes of last week’s episode on two characters talking in a self-driving car. 🙄

You might try the Sam Neill/Judy Davis version instead.

Do they really not have more than one backup?

Lol — They charge money for Windows 11???

There was a dramatized production about Terry Fox that was done for HBO films in the 80s, and it was actually quite good.
