minus-square@maynarkh@feddit.nllinkfedilink9•1 year agoI can’t really imagine it working. Maybe resulting in a firing with cause at max. Also, what would the company win by suing? The employee is most likely broke, and anything recouped is offset by the negative PR.
Negligence of that order would surely be prosecuted.
Edit: a claim of duress would probably work though.
