Hello everyone. I am posting this late because I’ve been playing Nightreign all day. I’ve beaten 3 night lords now and have unlocked all the characters. I’ve also been playing some Rome Total War on the side. Hope everyone has had a good weekend!

Good to see I’m not alone in the performance category. I’ve got a decently beefy setup and the game will just freeze on me for 20-30 seconds with an occasional crash. I assume it doesn’t like running on Linux? Still super fun though. I’ve been getting distracted gathering materials for base building while occasionally running out to do a side quest so my progress is slow going.
I’m also running Linux, so that might have something to do with it, but I also see performance complaints from people I assume are Windows users on

I’m playing with one other friend and they’re super into base building, whereas that’s not really my thing, so I go out and get the supplies from raiding camps and they put it all together. It works out.
But yeah, I read they were working on performance improvements for the next few patches before addressing complaints people have about stuff like PvP, which I haven’t participated in yet. Still only in the 2nd/3rd zone and haven’t unlocked all the classes or anything.
Sounds like I’m a decent mix in play styles between you and your friend lol. Good to know about the upcoming performance improvements! I could care care less about anything PvP related unless that’s just where most of the spice mining happens…I’m purposely going in pretty blind so I can be pleasantly surprised by various aspects of the game.
