I get where you are coming from and I agree that people need to defend themselves, but if we go down this route the most likely result will just be more violence. I’m not ready to let significantly more people die just because I’m pissed off. I understand that things are bad but they can be so much worse.
On a side note, even though I disagree with you this reminded me of the episode of South Park where everyone in town gets a gun and it finally gets everyone to speak their minds about everything. And then someone, I can’t remember who, says something along the lines of “wow, guns really are amazing” as they all finally get along while they all point guns at each other. Off topic as all hell, but it made me laugh.
No they were shooting at a leftist known for legally open carrying at protests, and there’s video of him just walking with the gun pointed down before he gets unexpectedly shot at.
