    I think you misread that. They are refusing 0 enrichment. (the non-proliferation treaty as it protects signatories rights to civilian nuclear industry. So any nation pushing for this is breaching the NNPT)

    It doesn’t cost them anything to keep talking. By keeping the door open on negotiations they can keep Russia and China onside. If Iran really does go for the bomb I dont think Russia and China will protect them. By continuing to negotiate with anyone other than us and isisrael they are proving that they are rational and peaceful but also unwilling to waste time on the rabid zionists.

    Their enriched uranium was always a bargaining chip. It was never even close to weapons grade. They are willing to discuss lowering their enrichment cap but only for guarantees of sanctions relief etc. The entire purpose of having so much enriched uranium is to be able to trade it for security.
