‘One Piece' manga announces new hiatus due to live-action second season

Oda wants to oversee the second season of One Piece on Netflix to keep it on par with the series and spin-offs such as ‘One Piece Fan Letter’.

In addition to the 6-month break for the anime, ‘One Piece’ has just announced a two-week break for the manga.

The reason for the break is that Oda wants to get involved in the second season of the live-action and wants to spend a few days supervising Netflix to make sure that everything is done as well as in the first season.
