Because quality requires effort so they rather go for whatever gives people something easy and cheap

Doesn’t necessarily mean that. Look at his last show, Primal. It was rated for mature audiences, but I certainly wouldn’t call it gross animation or gross humor.

Edit: I just looked and saw it had a Y-14 rating, which is surprisingly low considering everything that happens in it.

Because R rated things are cool. People beg for movies to be R rated.
