Mine’s slowly dying. Gunna’ have to replace the screen at some point. But it’s like $45+ and then I should change the case when I do that and that’s another 40-ish so whatever. I just have the battery taped in at the moment and ignore the slightly foggy screen corner.

Gotta ask, wouldn’t it make more sense to get one of them gaming handhelds and just use PPSSPP on it? Compatibility is pretty much perfect now right?

Yeah, at some point an emulation handheld would be cheaper/better. I’ve collected a lot of my stuff as they released and when they were cheaper, so there’s a sunk cost in these things for me and it’s cheaper to fix each individual thing than it is to pay $100+ for something decent. Also has inter-connectivity with peripherals, other consoles, etc. much more easily for now. PSP had inter-connectivity with PS2 and PS3 and other PSPs that might be doable with emulation but it’s usually a pain in the ass (although that stuff’s getting easier all the time as well).
