Still supports Google. They will produce more because people are trading in their old ones. Unless Google completely stops producing pixels, any demand for refurbished ones still shows up as demand for pixels from their sales metrics.

You are not wrong but a small onetime purchase of a used device every 5-7 years is drop in the ocean compared to renting a new phone off the rack every two years and being locked into the ecosystem of your provider. The only thing I feel bad about is buying the phone from Amazon. I just couldn’t find one anywhere else and my old phone was barely usable.

So which browser should those who are unfortunate enough to use iOS use?

Orion (by the same guys who made Kagi) has Ad-Blockers built in. It can take both Firefox and Chrome extensions as well.

lol this is untrue, I use iOS mostly because Google sucks. I also use macOS, and Linux, and I like open source. Unless you use grapheneos the android and iOS debate or moral superiority for either side is pointless. Plus Google is going the way of Apple slowly anyway in regards to open source

I mean i just use safari. It has a bunch of extensions, it blocks ads and tracking. You can add adguard to it if you want. You can get dark mode. Sometimes I use Firefox too but Safari really handles a lot. If you’re really up for trying privacy respecting browsers, Orion is great. Built by the Kagi developers so you know they care about your privacy. I stopped using it because it didn’t have dark mode last year but that might have gotten added by now.

Lol by solely using it to bypass ads on YouTube you’re not supporting them, they don’t get anything from except view history which they can’t do shit if you otherwise don’t use brave
