HI all,

I’ve been wanting to swap certain websites I use with better ones, and have been using two redirector extensions in order to help me streamline doing so, one for general site redirects, another for swapping me over to frontends when possible.

However, some sites I need to continue accessing for hobby projects I do. Setting up a redirect from YouTube to my PeerTube instance would be convenient, but that would get in the way of work I do for MusicBrainz, where I often have to access YouTube channel links directly in order to ensure a channel link is still valid or if it’s for the correct person.

I was thinking a good midway point would be to be able to have access to YouTube for the hobby projects, but also have a banner reminding me each time I visit the site to use PeerTube instead for casual watching.

Is there an extension for Firefox that accomplishes this? Thanks in advance.

Firefox is adding an option to add notes to tabs. It is possible to enable it in beta and nightly (not sure about stable) with browser.tabs.notes.enabled set to true.
