It’s a very masculine-coded thing to do so I’d definitely look into the underlying ideology here as it’s very rare for women to do this (98% of proper mass shooters who are doing non-interpersonal, non-workplace violence towards basically strangers or very casual acquaintances are men).
That said I’m not sure I buy the Nazi pretending angle thing in this case, who pretends and socially transitions for 6 years before a shooting? I wouldn’t rule out that they were a Nazi, or even manipulated and coerced by online Nazism into doing this but we need some evidence not speculation that conveniently fits what we want to be true.
