Since the article was written the amount donated has surpassed 2 million. The family own a multimillion dollar ranch in Texas and a house in LA that they rent out for $144K a year.
i’m thinkin i should just start a gofundme for fuck-all reason just to get some money because apparently people just love to give people fucking money for any reason at all on that platform
Inside Job Idea: Have a friend who works at starbucks and is like a stereotypical liberal, think dyed hair, piercings, etc. and film it that you want your cup to say “TRUMP 2028” and she refuses, go viral, chud money, split the loot.
amazing idea!
Just say you were cancelled by the woke mob for shouting racial slurs at a child, the fash eat that shit up.
when the initial story hit (with a quick plug for the gofundme), i took it at face value that maybe the family had fallen on harder financial times from years of medical treatment, because I can’t even remember the last time i saw James “The Chin” van der Beek in media.
however, my reaction was not to give $ to a once rich celebrity heart throb. it was to connect with my primary care doc and make sure to schedule a colonoscopy, because the stats are already crazy and getting crazier in the US for colorectal cancer ocurring in younger and younger people. guy got diagnosed stage 3 at 46… they generally don’t start screening til ~45 when they should probably make that 35.
ludicrous to ask for charity when you make six figures of rental income from property in LA. like stfu.
