If i say anything about this I expect I’d see an avalanche of posts saying I’m anti-semitic. Because they are jewish we are supposed to let them do anything without consequences

Criticizing Israel for doing terrible things is not antisemitic. Blaming all Jews for the actions of Israel is.

      Hope this helps

You can criticize and condemn Israeli state actions not the ethnic group as much as you want. As you can with any other country despite genocidal Israeli state best efforts to assimilate Judaism with Zionism. Which is the real antisemitism.

Part of the problem is that there is real anti-Semitism waiting for political cover to join the chorus of valid criticism to further their agenda. Bigots salivate over stories like this to point to as justification for their hatred of entire religious and/or ethnic groups.

This is horrific, and the criminals who did this should face the harshest of punishments. They won’t, because of many problems we face, but none of those problems are solved by dehumanizing the group that contains the perpetrators. This was a hate crime, and you don’t fix Israeli bigotry with more bigotry.

They won’t face any punishment by the Israeli state, but they may very well get the death penalty from Iran or Hezbollah
