    spies are worse!

Also, cops are always a voyeuristic entry into everyone’s world, because they are tolerated. Similar to private eyes. Cops and Private eyes are a mechanism for engaging in a mystery storyline.

    • Yeah, agreed. I hate it, but cops have access to things/info that a storyteller needs, they have access to people, places, evidence, they come and go and are tolerated like you said. We’d still be making cop movies under communism cause cops have access. Like, wasnt The Departed based on a Chinese cop trilogy?

“Stop revisionist scum! I’ve been temporarily appointed via sortition by the People’s Committee for Investigation. Come with me and my subject-matter expert assistants, where we will something something communism jokes gulag.”

Sorry. I’d do better but it’s 4am, I spent 3 hours worrying over another post and now can barely spell.
