Peter Thiel was specifically raised in Swakopmund, a town where praising the Nazis, public displays of the Nazi flag, Celebrating Hitler’s Birthday and using “Heil Hitler” as a greeting was still common well into the 1990s.

I’m sure that if the grandson is a Nazi, it’s easy enough to prove without having to infer that Nazism is a genetic disease with a patrilinear mode of transmission.

This is a weak argument. Being a regional CEO of Palantir is enough to disqualify him. No need to use this rationale.

If I’m a mason and my father is a mason and his father is a mason, you wouldn’t infer that masonry is a genetic disease. Instead a mason reared his child to be a mason and so on.

You don’t think perhaps the point isn’t that it’s genetic but actually that it’s taught and it was taught to him by his Nazi grandparents and parents? Cuz that should be what you’re thinking. You should also be thinking that letting so many of the Nazis live was a mistake we should not repeat.
