The Likud on Tuesday petitioned the election committee to punish Democrats Party leader Yair Golan, calling for the removal of a video he posted, claiming the video constituted prohibited electioneering.
In the video, Golan states that MK Zvi Sukkot’s (Religious Zionist Party) illegal destruction of a Palestinian monument in the West Bank “did not happen in a vacuum,” stating it was the “spirit of Netanyahu” that enabled him.

In the video, a mother is seen working on a series of posters when she receives a call from her child, who says they are being bullied at school.
The mother realizes that the bullying her child is experiencing is apparently no different than the treatment Netanyahu receives at the hands of the opposition, and the posters she is working on are revealed to be anti-Netanyahu posters, reading the Hebrew phrase “Rak Lo Bibi” (Anyone but Netanyahu).
No longer wishing to be a part of the alleged “bullying” campaign, the mother then throws out the posters while on her way to comfort her child.
The video campaign was additionally posted on the Likud Party’s X/Twitter account, accompanied by the phrase, “End the boycotts.”

Speaking at an event in Rishon Lezion, Bennett drew a clear right-wing line against Eisenkot, saying he supports E1 construction between Jerusalem and Ma’aleh Adumim and that “anyone who opposes a Palestinian state should support settlement in E1.”
He also made clear that he opposes a Palestinian state “under any constellation.”
This was the only interesting thing I read. Is a Palestinian state a live issue in Israel? I can’t imagine who would be supporting it out of all these jokers.

Bennett and Eisenkot are competing over who can present the stricter conscription framework; Shas is demanding that the issue be settled as a condition for joining the government; and Likud is already signaling that it is prepared to discuss that demand even before the government is sworn in.
A quarter of Israelis are considering using artificial intelligence to help decide how to vote, while a large majority have already encountered false information and fake or impersonating accounts online, according to a comprehensive survey the Israeli Internet Association conducted ahead of the elections.

I think there are people in the country who dont want to continue the genocide but i have no idea if they have political representation or not. like communism in America isn’t a “live issue” and yet the extra super right wing Republicans call the regular super right wing Democrats communists anyway, and point to people who are not politically represented as proof.
