I think the point is all bike bills would be bipartisan but they’re only not because they don’t plaster the word freedom 800 times over it so it’s their fault and also surely, surely, if they did the autor could reconcile her cognitive dissonance about still rooting for the team that killed her dad
It’s not like conservatives have who knows how many spiels shitting on the idea of transit in any form but that of the car (‘15 minute cities are woke’, ‘buses are shitty and for the poors’, ‘subways are where you get mugged’, etc)
