When pretty much every aspect of our lives relies on machines, from PC to Servers, to Laptops, to Cell phone, and all the sites on the net. (no offense lemmy.world). Kind of seems a little bit late now to put in safe guards.

    Aren’t the data centers mainly for training the AI? I mean, as far as I know, this is the most processing intensive step in the whole existence of AI.

      Nope, Usage inference passed training for usage last year some time and has continued to skyrocket comparatively.
