— 🇮🇶/🇹🇷 NEW: Bafal Talabani, head of the Iraqi Kurdish party ‘PUK’, announces his intention to secede from the current Iraqi Kurdistan autonomous region and create a ‘Kurdistan 2.0’ that includes the cities of Sulaimaniyah and Halabja.
Talabani declared that his party would withdraw from what he called the ‘failed government’ in Erbil with immediate effect, vowing to create a parallel government and institutions.
The announcement likely marks the first time in history that a non-existent country splits up and forms a second non-existent country.

Average Kurdish puppet behavior.
—❗️🇺🇸 NEW: Trump’s long-time aide Susie Wiles has left her position as White House Chief of Staff, and is being replaced by Stephen Miller
Miller is one of Trump’s staunchest supporters. He is also known for being very hawkish on Iran.

🇧🇭 Bahrainis express their revulsion of the Al Khalifa regime’s new wave of arbitrary arrests through street protests across the country.
The protests have intensified following an escalation in repressive measures by the Bahraini rulers against Shia religious figures and citizens.

Bahrain’s American shield becomes its greatest liability
The US Fifth Fleet was meant to secure the Al-Khalifa monarchy. After Iranian strikes, Bahrain faces damaged military facilities, mounting debt, and an opposition returning to the streets.

Eisenkot secures majority backing to form Israeli government as Netanyahu faces ouster
The Israeli opposition leader refuses to form a government with parties representing Palestinians with Israeli citizenship, leaving the door open for Netanyahu to return as prime minister
i can’t tell if it’s better agitprop for the israelis to change leadership and then keep doing the same shit, or for them to be so racist they can’t even form a coalition with the most conciliatory of the arabs. actually, it’s probably the latter.
Personally I also think the latter. It reveals the pitfalls of liberal zionism.
Tehran, Moscow agree to build gas pipelines after Putin hosts Iran’s security chief
Rezaei told Putin that Tehran will neither reopen the Strait of Hormuz nor negotiate an end to the war unless Washington meets its seven conditions
🇮🇷🇺🇸| Iran’s top security deputy chief, Ali Bagheri, Iran will no longer accept written promises from the US and demands concrete US actions before entering a new phase of diplomacy.
He says the US has broken its commitments and derailed all 4 rounds of negotiations over the past 18 months.
@FotrosResistancee
This is a significant diplomatic escalation. Iran’s doctrine of strategic patience is in place precisely to develop leverage towards this orientation.

❗️European Union delays methane reporting rules due to US-Israeli war on Iran
Expand
The Council of the European Union has agreed to postpone by one year key environmental regulations requiring oil, gas, and coal importers to monitor and report methane emissions, directly citing severe global energy market volatility resulting from the ongoing US-Israeli war against Iran.
Under the negotiating stance adopted by member states on Friday, monitoring, reporting, and verification obligations for fossil fuel importers will be pushed back from 1 January 2027 to 1 January 2028, aligning with a proposal put forward by the European Commission following intense lobbying from France and Washington.
According to Al Jazeera, European officials framed the delay as a necessary compromise to secure energy imports and mitigate surging domestic fuel prices.
“There are significant pressures on global energy markets, which are driving up energy prices across the EU,” declared Darragh O’Brien, Ireland’s Minister for Climate, Energy, and the Environment, whose country currently holds the rotating EU presidency.
The decision sets up upcoming negotiations with the European Parliament, which previously voted in favor of a broader three-year delay.
❗️Iranian lawmaker warns retaliatory strikes could target Europe and drive oil past $150
An Iranian lawmaker warned that any renewed aggression by the US or Israeli occupation forces will trigger a wide-scale response capable of expanding missile strikes to targets across Europe and driving global crude prices beyond $150 a barrel.
Speaking to Iran’s Tasnim News Agency, Hossein Ali Haji Deligani, a member of parliament representing Shahin Shahr, declared that Tehran’s retaliatory operational doctrine will not be constrained by geographical boundaries or the initial scale of an attack.
“The range of the responding missiles will also encompass Europe, and this will lead to the oil price crossing the $150 threshold,” Deligani stated, characterizing the expected Iranian response as “massive, multiplied, and strategic.”
Addressing Washington’s ongoing naval blockade against Iranian ports, the lawmaker described the maritime enforcement actions as an explicit act of war against the country, warning that armed forces will strike back “at the appropriate moment.”
The comments signal growing readiness within parliament for a broader escalation as economic pressures and maritime blockades continue to threaten regional stability.
❗️Israeli occupation forces killed a 15-year-old Palestinian boy in the Al-Mawasi area west of Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip, medical sources reported.
The teenager, identified as Mohammad Nidal Barbakh, was shot by Israeli occupation soldiers in the Bir 19 sector of al-Mawasi, an area declared a ‘safe humanitarian zone’ situated outside direct Israeli ground positions, and later succumbed to his wounds.
❗️Turkiye says proposed gas pipeline with Turkish Cypriots could power all of Cyprus
Turkish Energy Minister Alparslan Bayraktar said a proposed natural gas pipeline connecting Turkiye with the breakaway Turkish Cypriot community could eventually supply electricity to the entire island of Cyprus.
Announced earlier this year, the project involves constructing a mostly subsea, 101-kilometer pipeline to the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) to supply the community with natural gas. Ankara says the infrastructure could also eventually be connected to Europe.
Speaking to international media representatives in Istanbul on Thursday, Bayraktar said Turkiye plans to transport gas to the island to fuel a power plant, allowing the Turkish Cypriot administration to generate its own electricity. If an agreement is reached between the two sides, the TRNC could eventually supply some of that electricity to the Greek Cypriot government.
“If we find some gas or someone else can find some in the eastern Mediterranean, they can use this pipeline with the reverse flow and they can bring the gas to the island and from the island to Turkey and to the European market,” he said.
Bayraktar also said Ankara remained open to energy cooperation with Greece.
❗️UAE stocks fall as regional tensions weigh on investor sentiment
Stock markets in the United Arab Emirates fell on Friday as regional geopolitical uncertainty dampened investor confidence and prompted traders to remain cautious.
Abu Dhabi’s benchmark index dropped 1.3% to an 18-month low, dragged down by a 1.7% decline in real estate developer Aldar Properties.
International Holding Company (IHC), the UAE’s largest listed conglomerate, plunged 2.8% to its lowest level in more than four years after reporting a 28% decline in third-quarter net profit.
Dubai’s main index slipped 0.3%, ending a four-session winning streak amid losses in financial and industrial stocks. Emirates NBD, the emirate’s largest lender, fell 1.3%, while toll operator Salik declined 1.1%.
Emaar Development bucked the trend, gaining 1.2% after its parent company, Emaar Properties, announced plans to make a voluntary cash offer to acquire up to 100% of its shares. Emaar Properties’ stock, meanwhile, closed 0.2% lower.
Meanwhile, Brent crude rose 0.5% to $98.73 per barrel by 11:55 GMT.
On a weekly basis, Abu Dhabi’s index lost 0.8%, while Dubai’s benchmark climbed 4.4%, marking its strongest weekly performance in more than six months, according to LSEG data.
❗️More dual-national citizens have served in Israeli occupation forces than in Canadian military
Expand
Government records from Ottawa and Tel Aviv indicate that more than double the number of Jewish Canadians were actively serving in the ranks of the Israeli occupation forces compared to those enlisted in the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF).
Data released by the Israeli government showed that 1,524 Canadian citizens held active status within the occupation forces as of March 2025. In contrast, a Canadian government demographic publication issued in March 2026 estimated that approximately 680 Jewish personnel served in regular CAF ranks—accounting for roughly one percent of total active military personnel.
When cross-referenced with demographic baselines, the figures suggest that significantly more dual-national citizens chose to deploy with foreign occupation units than serve in their own national military.
While Canadian law permits citizens to enlist in foreign militaries provided the state is not actively fighting a Canadian ally, the dynamic has drawn heightened public scrutiny. A national opinion survey commissioned in March 2026 found that 54 percent of Canadians support criminalizing military service in foreign states for Canadian citizens.
Investigative reporting by The Maple indicates that mainstream institutional bodies across Canada, including private religious schools and community organizations, frequently valorize service within the Israeli military and encourage youth recruitment.
❗️Yemen’s Armed Forces expand deep-territory strikes as Saudi air campaign reaches 4,000 raids
Yemen’s Armed Forces reported that coalition warplanes launched 61 separate air raids across Sanaa and nine other provinces on Thursday, pushing the total number of airstrikes recorded since the onset of the current escalation to 4,000.
The Ministry of Health in Sanaa documented approximately 20 civilian casualties resulting from recent bombardments, including strikes that obliterated a plastics factory in Taiz governorate and targeted the Al-Talh area in Saada governorate’s Sahar district along the Saudi border.
In response to the intensifying aerial campaign, Yemen’s Armed Forces executed retaliatory long-range operations deep inside Saudi territory, launching drone strikes against King Fahd International Airport in Dammam following prior operations targeting King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh.
Yemen’s Armed Forces reiterated that Saudi airspace remains an active theater for retaliatory military operations, explicitly exempting the airspace above Mecca and Medina from targeting.
