I’ve cancelled my subscription yesterday, conveniently it was about to renew at the end of the week, so I have a few days to migrate from Proton, here’s what I’m thinking of, but I’d love to hear what other people are switching to

        Their interface is dog shit and although i use Tuta, i dont want to migrate there because its so unintuitive to use and just feels clanky

      …but their app is only…functional. It works. But no quality of life. One thing, swiping messages is SLOW. I don’t even bother marking email as read anymore because it’s like two seconds per swipe. I usually just catch up in the desktop app when it gets annoying by selecting all and marking as read. Not that it matters on iOS, unread is only an icon on the phone until you open the app, then it’s (usually) cleared. When they updated their spam filters a couple months back, the new message notification would pop up on the lock screen, then when I clicked it, it would be gone. Then show up in spam a little later.

      I really want to support the service. I’ve been with them a year. I make do with the app, but it’s so hard to recommend them. I wish they’d get some modernization in the app though.

        It is sad to there is no a stable concrete pro-privacy too many alternatives. More alternatives are better
