My desktop is amd 2700 cpu and nvidia 3080. I have been on Linux for at least a year now. Nobara was okay but borked itself from an update. Bazzite is my current os and it’s been rock solid for gaming. Just use protondb to make sure individual games work right.

All of those shows are vastly different from something like Fallout regarding production overhead. With that said I wouldn’t mind some long running slice of life Friends or Seinfeld style show in the Fallout universe.

I’ve been enjoying it on Bazzite OS. When it first launched it took some tinkering to get it running stable with no black screen flickering. After a few hot fixes it started again no matter what I did until I switched to X11 instead of Wayland. Now it runs amazing. The gameplay is rough in areas but what they have so far is great. I’m looking forward to whatever UI and game mechanic improvements they introduce.

How else will they sell you the same system twice?

The platform of the fediverse may continue but the loss of community is still very much a possibility. All it takes is hostile actors manipulating their way into control of a particular community and then they can shutter it or steer it in a direction of their choosing. Every community on every server is like a Corp in Eve. It’s easy to start an alternative but the specific community will still be harmed. But that’s life.
