Used to do this in college all the time… drink the good shit myself then bring the shit that tastes like paint thinner to the party in the same bottle. Just make sure you pour the first drink so no on realizes it’s open already.
DDLC fucked with me hard core… first time I played it and got to “that” part, I cold killed my pc and sat in the shower in the fetal position until I ran out of hot water.
Didn’t play it again for several days afterwards.

I’ll second the NieR suggestion, and raise the prequel/original. Both of those games have no right being as good as they are story wise.
