Their games are good. Their prices, lawsuits, exclusives, and hardware are all shit.

News@lemmy.world•Clancy juror says holdout didn't show 'single piece of evidence' explaining voteEnglish
12·6 days agoYeah but didn’t the defense also have an expert testify the opposite?
A singular expert’s opinion is never a “case closed” matter.

science@lemmy.world•Solid-state battery hits 381 Wh/kg as Taiwan mass production beginsEnglish
1·9 days agoUltimately yes. People easily get confused between power density (power per volume), energy density(energy per volume), specific energy(energy per mass unit) and specific power(power per mass unit)

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•What is a psychological "cheat code" you use in everyday life that actually works?English
5·9 days agoHow is “Don’t be lazy and procrastinate” a cheat code…?
About as dumb as “just buy a house” if you’re homeless.

21·9 days agoOk… But most people aren’t vaping non-nicotine juice
You’d be surprised… Nicotine salts are pretty controlled in much of the world so many teenagers are just vaping flavour. Vaping with nicotine was more a thing among recovering smokers.
Zynns are a different story… Those are stupid amounts of Nicotine and pretty popular.

you can just call/text your boss that you have a common cold and you can be on a sick leave for few days (3 days is pretty common limit) just self-diagnosing it
Aw man I wish but my idiot countrymen voted the socially conservative neolibs again :(
Even non-life-threatening injuries can impair your driving and cause worse on the way to the hospital.
Just call an ambulance and explain the injury, they can evaluate if and how much you should be prioritised over others/ not.
Why waste doctors’ time on something that’ll pass on its own with a bit of rest and paracetamol?
Mandatory sick notes in my country, hate it.

Gaming@lemmy.world•How Capcom Cracked the Code of Game DevelopmentEnglish
3·11 days agoIt seems like a lot of glazing Capcom and ignoring their recent failures. The MH:Wilds fiasco was not even mentioned.
Also it’s a fine line between “valuing legacy” and plain milking IPs.

That’s intellectually lazy, companies quite simply aren’t equally capitalistic (sociopathic)
