2·3 months agoFramework’s keyboard is widely considered to be one of the best laptop keyboards available on the market, based on loads of reviews and personal opinions shared online (and my own experience).
Probably not relevant right now, but in the worst case, if you got one and hated it, they have a 30-day return policy.
You can store passkeys in most modern password managers. You don’t have to use Microsoft, Apple, Google, etc. storage for them.

2·9 months agoX11 lets any window constantly monitor keyboard input in the background, but in Wayland, only the active foreground window can by default. I unfortunately don’t know of a trivial workaround to allow that currently.

42·11 months agoThe alternative here is they don’t allow it and get a bunch of MRs sneakily using AI anyway but not disclosing it. I’d rather be aware that an MR was made with AI than not, personally, so I think this is probably the right move.


Speed limits applied through the parental controls don’t take effect mid-drive. They only take effect once parked.
Still a pretty shitty situation to be put in.
