The big differences for me in Satisfactory is that you are not pinging resources all the time, it’s a small fractional of the gameplay loop. Also, it doesn’t have a super obnoxious screen effect, so it’s more palatable to me
The problem is that games are designed for it to be used. I hated using Witcher senses in Dying Light 2, but good look finding lootables without it. It’s a cop out solution.
If I remember correctly, the instructor synced the grades from that platform at the end of the semester, and because the student was “inactive” nothing transferred, so Blackboard gave 0s for everything. It was a mess. She appealed but it didn’t pass.
I worked in university and had a case where a student did this, the grades didnt transfer as a result, and she failed as a result. If you’re gonna do this, make sure it’ll actually work.

Only kinda related but if anyone wants a good fantasy book with this kind of energy and theme, Gods of the Wyrdwood by RJ Barker is the way to go

Reminds me of a flash game where you argued with people Ace Attorney style and the first guy tries selling you deer repellent. You decline, and then die from hitting a deer with your car
