I got it without rice, so its girth was indeed unimpressive. And it was very wet.

Got one today- $18 for double steak. Would have had to sell a kidney if I added guac.
Same reason Nelix is the chef on voyager. Replicators don’t make something out of nothing.
Got it, throw bricks and insult people on social who share my values but feel powerless in the face of the capitalist juggernaut that is the US political system ✅
Has the genocide stopped yet?
Only one of us is throwing a tantrum and calling people names here.
If you have all the answers about how to solve this problem, it’s tragic that you are keeping them to yourself, while simultaneously blaming everyone else’s cowardice and incompetence for a situation we realistically have no control over.
I’m part of a group that regularly hand writes letters to representatives about issues including this one and I donate significant amounts of money to organizations that lobby the issues that are important to me, including this one. I canvas for local candidates that share my values. It’s all just farting into the wind though.
If you have the answer, please share.
So, with all this energy, what have you done?
Ok, so what should we be doing?
That’s what I’m saying. I’m just heartbroken that I’ll have to vote for someone unapologetically funding genocide with my tax money.
What’s the fucking point of democracy if I still have to vote for genocide in order to avoid the end of “democracy.”
In this case fighting for it means voting for Trump tho…? I don’t think he would have done better in this situation. Do you?
Yeah, it’s been “hold your nose and vote for the least insane” for a long time now, but more the choice is “the guy who supports genocide” or “the guy who really really supports genocide.”
Fucking two party first post the post bullshit. This is going to get Trump elected when the people who cant bear to vote for genocide stay home or vote third party.
Revenant is probably my favorite Trek novel, it’s the only one I know of that stars Jadzia.
“There are a lot of people afraid of being Jewish at this time, and are getting a taste of what it feels like to be a Muslim in this country.”
She’s being shitty to American Jews for something Israel’s government is doing and being overly indifferent to, if not supporting antisemitic violence in America.
She didn’t have to do that to make the point that American Muslims are also being treated badly and live in fear of retaliatory violence every time any Muslim commits a crime anywhere.
Well, she did say some fucked up things. But the other people mentioned in the article who were forced to resign basically just said “I’m against genocide” and were labeled as antisemites. That’s fucked up too.
Oh that’s really funny. I just assumed inking was some industry lingo I didn’t know. Either way, Mr Nelix won’t be the one doing it.
I reread this twice as “Nelix was inking it up” and was trying to figure out the joke.
I agree. I think people forget (or missed) that the Vulcans went for this logic-only lifestyle because they are such an extremely emotional race that it nearly destroyed them.
That is why they begin their emotional control/suppression/denial training basically at birth. It doesn’t come naturally to them, and as every Vulcan living among humans has pointed out to them at some point by a Vulcan living in Vulcan company: living with humans makes you an emotional mess.
The air strikes are also not good for them.
I like John Scalzi and I love Star Trek, but I couldn’t get into Redshirts. It just felt like “We have Star Trek at home…”
