My kids started school and I had a need to print lots of medical forms and other paperwork, I bought a brother laser printer. Because it was basic and functional and didn’t try to force me into an ink subscription that gave them permission to disable my hardware.

They could’ve had a bright future, free to do anything, go anywhere, hell even go to the stars all of that jeapordized by one measly little honest mistake of an accounting error that was multiplied thousands of times across the workforce spanning years summing entire lifetimes of earnings . Surely you can’t mean that they would be held to no recourse while the overly empowered and emboldened working class holds it’s jack boot stranglehold on poor honest golden parachute equipped hedge fund daddies who raised money from their well to do friends and family to buy a house outright for the optics of starting out of a garage with nothing…

Amazon entered the field by buying One Medical and advertising remote visits included at no extra cost for 9$ a month. I just got the bill for my first remote visit, 305$ to establish care. I figured okay, I just did the wrong kind of remote visit, so I tried to get help with a sinus infection I haven’t been able to shake, they straight up won’t do the included visit, they want me to do another multiple hundred dollar video call again. When you sign up they say video visits are free with no asterisk or limits given.
I make too little money to qualify for assistance, so I have basically been told by my country that I am an acceptable loss in the name of profits.
I’m scared, any doctor here can just refuse to treat me because they don’t think I’ll pay, or even better, in my home state they can deny me healthcare just because I’m on HRT.
We just got some bad news about my partners health, and potentially mine, so it’s not a “maybe this won’t impact me” kind of thing. I need medical help and treatment now, not in thirty years when we decide the Amazon death panels were a terrible exploitative idea…

I’m not a lawyer, but it is hard to tell from reading that if it means if you mark off one of the numbers it applies, or if you have to have 2 of 3 or what, but since it’s so vague, and most of the laws I’ve seen in that format if one point applies it all applies, I cannot in good faith argue that it won’t be used to target Hispanic people.
