I don’t know Bruce Sterling, so I read a few of the articles. Is it a scifi blog? It seems more like a general art and writer sort of thing? I might have not scrolled down far enough.
Same guy as https://lemmy.world/u/MacedWindow

I think its great they are promoting Lemmy but I think the notes are unneeded. Tell people Lemmy is great, give them a recommended instance to sign up on, and stop selling. They can learn about the rest after theyve gotten their lemmylegs underneath them.
Give them 5 extra paragraphs of caveats and people will think they are more confused than they are. I ended up on squabbles for two months after the reddit exodus because everytime Lemmy was brought up it was with a massive text wall or that one infocomic. Its free, theres no ads, and no one person owns it - thats really all you need to know to get started.
As soon as I beat Far Cry 3 I started looking into the first 2 games and got nothing but warnings to stay away. Stories of malaria and glitched doors. Maybe it is time to check it out.
Awesome track! I love the NES version of this game.

IMO the worst part is the ads that auto-scroll you to the top of the page after you’ve spent two minutes reading
Its my first time seeing them and it doesnt look like too much to me.
I found it awhile back on a vintage comic community on reddit. I found a few other comics with the same “it happens in the best regulated families” caption on google so that may just be the name of the strip.
I mean I’m at the point where I just met the starborn, and speculating with my partner on who they are has been a lot of fun. I was really looking forward to finding out. It is kind of a bummer to just have someone drop it in a random comment in a thread about the romance plots.
Bro thats a pretty big main quest spoiler to drop unmarked
The image overwrites the url on lemmy so here is a link oncomputer.games
Always happy to see the pom poko boys! Blog looks neat and I subscribed to the youtube channel.
What is this referring to? I tried googling “Ro bad place block list” but I’m not seeing anything relevent.
I’m enjoying the game and having fun but I also have a long list of complaints. #1 for me right now is not having the right dialogue options. First bethesda rpg where a character can ask me if something is a good idea and there is no option to tell them no!
Is this article written by AI? It has all sorts of strange errors and repeated words. Like the sentence at the end of this paragraph. I know it is popular to call out everything as AI right now but this article is suspicous.
Thabks for sharing this! NES is my favorite console and these games look awesome. Not sure if I am more excited for the bird one or the wizard one.
I’ll echo the other poster and say you should look into podcasts/streamers and try to imitate what you see them doing. Definitely what helped me the most when I was learning.
I would also say head over to a local game store that does draft nights if you can. I learned quite a bit from having other people look at my decks after a match, often getting advice and reconfiguring based on their input.
Finally I would say check out this article by Ben Stark. Some would say it is out of date but I think a lot of the mindset still applies and can get you thinking in the right way. You should check out his youtube as well, he hasn’t drafted since brother’s war but he talks about each pick he makes and why he made it. Can be very useful for learning what to look for as you put your draft deck together.
Good luck and have fun drafting! It is my favorite way to play mtg by far.
I liked the battle cards in draft, but I haven’t put any in my EDH decks. I think the ones that will end up being iconic haven’t been printed yet.
Ok cool! I figured I was missing something. Thanks for the suggestion :^)
