You guys have work printers?
Just playing, I have a Brother color laser printer. Had it for about 7 years, replaced the toner only once, prints fantastically. I mostly use it as a scanner and printing coloring pages for the kid.

You got Jazz Jackrabbit to run on the steam deck? I tried to install everything GOG had available (including 2) and had no success with heroic. Teach me your ways.
Disney speedstorm has solid gameplay…. At the expense of being pay to win in most modes. I played enough to “unlock” split screen and politely explained to my kiddo he can only be one of like 3 characters. Damn shame the game has a slot machine barrier. As soon as this sonic game drops though I’m grabbing it.
Eh, I’m from Detroit, we drink Canadian beer and would never speak ill of our southern neighbors. Heck, I grew up watching Hockey Night on CBC and listening to 89x. Can’t speak for the rest of the country though.
But for real, these critters sound scary, and apparently we’re all out of science. Or any sort of common sense. Yeah, we’re fucked.
Hey Canadians, you guys still have science up there, right? I got a two-four of Molson or Labatt for ya if you can lend your continental neighbors a hand. Don’t do it for the US, but help out Mexico eh?
It worked for USB C? And y’all have alternate app stores over there too. I don’t believe it’s unrealistic to guarantee that a product you sell will remain functional after support ends.
I recently started playing Disney Speedstorm as a fun casual kart game without Nintendo.
The gameplay is fantastic. The music bangs. The netcode is… alright. The game is fun!
But holy crap am I glad I don’t care about cosmetics and characters. This game is printing money on the backs of parent’s credit cards. Assuming everything was unlockable, you’re probably looking at 4-5 figures.
I’d gladly pay $80 for a game of this quality, but this kind of predatory nonsense should be illegal. And until it is, I can understand why companies are drawn to making games like this - it’s an unpatched infinite money glitch.
Conover, are you flushing golf balls again?!
Can’t wait to watch Sam Porter Bridges building bridges as a porter for Bridges - without controller input.
I used to buy Levi’s, but not only have they dropped quality, they introduced some weird “in the know” naming scheme where they still make “old” Levi’s, but just charge $200 a pop for them. Now I just grab Kirkland.
Nothing to see here, just Sony doing Sony things. Money burning a hole in your pocket? Go grab a handful of indie games.
I didn’t realize Portland had this struggle. In many parts of the country, it’s simply understood as their God-given right to have access to an AR-15.
I think it kills game leaks before the street date. Even if the data isn’t in the cartridge (which is stupid), you would still be able to sell the cartage assuming the online service is still active.
Sucks for game preservation though. I’m personally hoping there’s some flaw in the gen 1 hardware that can be exploited for archive purchases.

Honestly, just let the YouTube algorithm run for a few hours on a fresh account. You’ll start getting right wing and “Christian” viewpoints spoon fed to you fairly quickly.
Replace oxygen with dilithium and introduce a primitive species that safeguards it at conflict with the rolls die cardassians. Throw in some beastie boys for good measure.
Honest question, but on a technical level isn’t discord basically IRC with some bells, whistles, emojis, and a some WebRTC Logic wrapped in electron with a large marketing budget? Throw in some cloud storage and a CDN for images. What am I missing? I’m not saying it’s “easy”, but I’m curious what it would take to build a solid streamlined FOSS alternative built on combining existing technologies.
Edit: I’m not familiar with the ecosystem… is the issue with existing FOSS bad UI and complicated onboarding? Missing features? Or is it simply a critical mass issue?
I love Frakes. He’s just so passionate about what he’s working on and honestly it’s so rare to see people in his role geek out so much - not only does he “get it”, but he loves it - and as a fan I’m here for it.
Genuine question - isn’t their terms basically “if you use these third party services you’re subject to their terms, and also were going to collect some data to see if people actually use this feature or if it’s a waste of time?”
I feel in reaction Indiana will rename Michigan City, Michigan will reclaim the Toledo strip, and Ohio will Ohio.
So many words for what’s essentially a 2 sentence story.
