Dude, I don’t even own a single Nintendo hardware! I just think the Palworld fans are utterly toxic, a lot of Nintendo haters’ only argument seeming to be “muh unreal engine”, with everything else just being there as a deflection once someone points out it.

I’m not a Nintendo fan, but:

1. Palworld fans are toxic as fuck. Not nearly as bad as sending death threats, instead more like in a way they can’t express their love for the game by also not shitting on something else, and that’s just the tip of the iceberg.
2. Most of the criticisms are also in really bad faith, with often the “multibillion dollar company” being used to deflect how bad faith those criticisms are.

If you’re mad at NVidia for their closed-source drivers, then remember that ARM seldom makes their Linux drivers available for free, so you have to either have to deal with absolutely no GPU driver while the CPU does the graphics rendering (might not be a big deal on a NAS though), or with open source drivers that are less capable than the Nouveau drivers and even fiddlier to install. The ARM Mali driver issue is so bad I was legit thinking on a solution to run the Android binary blobs (which at least are available by ripping them off from the Android kernel) on regular Linux, a lot of function call redirects would likely take care of that issue.

This is a rare case of an accessibility feature often being someone’s roadblock…
