On February 7, 2024, it was announced that the Funimation app and website would shut down on April 2, 2024, and that all Funimation subscribers could choose to migrate their account data to Crunchyroll until then. As part of the merger of services, legacy Funimation subscribers would see a price increase and users would lose access to their digital library. Following complaints from users, Crunchyroll president Rahul Purini stated that the company would work with customers to provide “appropriate value” for their digital copies.

I looked at my backlog of Playstation and Steam games, and thought to myself: “I’m gonna buy No Man’s Sky again, turn on cross save, and port my 200+ hour save to Steam.”

I’m going through old exhibitions I missed over the last few years, and PC is the way to do it. Having spent about 12 hours on it yesterday, I’m pretty happy with my decision

My sister had a friend growing up that had their birthday in late December, and she recalls how much she hated having joint birthday/Christmas presents. She could see other kids get gifts for their birthdays and Christmas, why couldn’t she?

Now that my sister has a kid of her own, she’s determined to make sure the holidays and his birthday are completely separate, and I am completely behind her in that decision.

  • PlayStation has a feature where each account has a “primary console”. Games that are purchased on an account can be played by that specific account on any console, or can be played by any account on the primary console.

Everyone plays on the same console? Great, that should be everyone’s primary console. So offspring A buys a game on their profile, offspring B can play it.

If offspring A goes somewhere and logs into their account on another PS5 console, offspring A can download and play their game, but no one else can play it on that other console.

If offspring B plays a game on their account and creates a save, offspring A can’t log into their own account and mess with offspring B’s save.
