i started with polygondwanaland, it’s still my favorite. but my fav music is prog rock, metal, and jazz so

i love king gizzard but i haven’t listened to any of those albums, ill have to check them out

yeah i love rush, and they were closer to pop then than crown lands is today. i wouldnt call floyd or stones pop today, but they charted #1 in decades past.

Yeah that’s what I’ve been finding, but pop music in the rock and jazz days was still mostly oriented around a single artist and session musicians, but bands still became popular (even if it wasn’t pop as a genre). So I figure there might still be some popular bands today.
