I really miss Tom Scott

Hi there, I’m the one who created the origami community on feddit.de :) After the instance shut down, I reopened another community on feddit.org (https://feddit.org/c/origami), but afterwards I didn’t have much time to fold something and so I unfortunately neglected the community (that’s why there are only a few post). If you want to fold something else, however, feel free to post something over there! Maybe I’ll also fold something small to get the ball rolling again soon, who knows :)

To be honest, I kind of neglected the community due to a lack of time and motivation, but maybe I’ll try folding something again to post over there, so thank you for the reminder!

for me it’s the millions and billions of teeny tiny critters living in every pillow, plushie and carpet I own, without them even paying rent!!

hmm interessant… die Möglichkeit, Posts Sprachen zuzuordnen, scheint es bei Boost wohl nicht zu geben (ich greife hauptsächlich über das Handy auf Lemmy zu), aber ich werde mich nochmal genauer umschauen oder ansonsten halt über den Browser posten. In addition, the German language does not really differentiate between turtles and tortoises: both are called “shield toads”, but if you want to be more specific, you can say “water shield toads” or “land shield toads”, respectively.

Ich kann vermutlich noch nicht so viel beitragen, aber ich stolper immer mal wieder über kleine deutsche Lokalvereine zum Thema Nachhaltigkeit, die in einer englischsprachigen Community einfach keinen Platz haben, also wäre ich definitiv interessiert :)
