The common thing there is that they’re smaller animals. When you raise a large animal like a cow you need to sustain that extra size for the entire time they grow.

Does climate friendly meat actually exist? I don’t really understand how, at least not at the volume people eat meat today.
Have you people never heard of a phone book? Phone numbers aren’t sensitive information. If they want to scrape your phone number they can legally and trivially do so through public data sources. Google does plenty of sketchy things around privacy, but this isn’t one of them, it’s just about security.
Wait until they hear about this thing called a phone book.
There’s also this thing called a phone book which has almost everyone and their number in it. Phone numbers are not sensitive information, period.
Especially when they already have access to your entire email history. If they wanted your phone number for nefarious means it will probably be somewhere in that history already. Your email already requires complete trust in the email provider service, there’s so much more sensitive stuff they already have access to.
But if they’re recognized it means they aren’t doing a good enough job faking them
Most mushrooms won’t kill you
That’s not very reassuring
So weird seeing this in hd
That is such a cool launch pad
That’s a lot of work for something that could be corrected for in a few seconds with find and replace
I’m sure too, it’d just be a funny situation
Lots of Asian fish dishes are served with bones in them. What if he doesn’t know how to eat around them and chokes?
They were never against a state controlled by religion, just a state controlled by other religions.
Maybe the fascists will back off if we ask really nicely?
This ruling seems to be really badly misinterpreted. The case wasn’t for people using ai tools to create works but from a computer scientist who created a completely autonomous tool and was trying to co-copyright the works with the tool. Copyright needs human involvement, how much human involvement is still not hard law, but if you integrate the output of an AI and integrate it into a larger work that is very much covered.
Are there any academic focused lemmy instances? I’d love a community that requires proof of a degree to join (could still allow users from other instances to comment and participate) and only has science focused communities.
They’re not as good, but also like pizza, even bad ramen still tastes good.
They’re not just talking about piracy, they’re linking to it. There’s piracy subs on Reddit too and they’re allowed because they are very careful to only talk about it and not link to it, and they’re severely gimped because of that. What’s great about lemmy is that instances that are on with the risk can do so without having to follow anyone else’s rules and users can access it by simply having another account.
At the end I said at the volume of consumption we have. If everyone switched to wild game we’d instantly go from over population to over hunting and that’s not sustainable. You wouldn’t be able to support the volume with pasture raised without deforestation either. Raising your own animals also wouldn’t match the volume that people eat meat currently either. Even if we were more efficient with the meat we use I still think we’d be orders of magnitude off. I’m not totalitarian anti meat, I just don’t see any path to sustainability without huge decreases in consumption. The things you pointed out are great, but I think we can’t mislead people into thinking that will be enough for them to not have to change their eating habits.
