12·2 years agoAs far as I remember, there were people virtue-signaling this kind of conflict, even before the internet was a thing.
1·2 years agoI had the same problem once. Every time I needed to be an admin, I had to send an email to an outsourced guy in another country, and wait one hour for an answer with a temporary password.
With WSL and Linux, I needed to be admin 3 or 4 times per day. I CCed my boss for every request. When he saw that I was waiting and doing nothing for 4 hours every day, he sent them an angry email and I got my admin account back.
The stupid restriction was meant for managers and sales people who didn’t need an admin account. It was annoying for developers.
33·2 years agoWhere I work, it’s the middle managers who make a list of useless people. They obviously won’t put their own names on the list.
26·2 years agoThe harm is that it’s installed. There is no reason for doing this. It can be done on demand in one second if the user subscribes to their VPN.
It also shows once once again that they keep on doing their shady shit and still cannot be trusted (or at least that they are a bunch of incompetent developers).
Please list the web sites that are broken on Firefox. People always say this without giving sources.

I have a hundred passwords on Bitwarden, but no account that uses Google, and I wouldn’t know which one allows it.
Why? I’m curious because I closed my Google accounts 5 years ago and don’t know what’s useful nowadays.
