1·16 天前Yeah, the entire article doesn’t seem to make sense. The citation provided in the body of the text fits perfectly into OP’s desired narrative which they spread relentlessly (mostly using the same sources). What we see in their post history is extremist anti-Bibi propaganda fighting extremist pro-Bibi propaganda, one bs fighting another, but not much information.
The way how this is framed is an attempt to normalize such a regime.
It just fits to your pro-China propaganda stance. China is Afghanistan’s largest foreign investor, not in the least as Beijing depends on the stability in the region for its so-called Belt and Road Initiative. A crisis or political instability could threaten this initiative as well as China–Pakistan Economic Corridor.
The linked article is an attempt to downplay the Taliban’s atrocities, while downplaying severe human rights violations that can’t be denied by framing them as things the regime “failed to achieve”. This is a slap in the face to the people in Afghanistan.
This is rubbish. The Taliban are among the worst regimes in history.

I don’t say we can’t improve government in the West. There’s a lot wrong. What I say is that China and Russia are using justified critique not to improve the system but to destroy it.
These migrants didn’t cross the border, they came through self-made tunnels. It is impossible that authorities in Belarus weren’t aware of that. What is described in the article has nothing to do with migration, this is a deliberate act to destabilize Western countries.
Wealth inequality has also lead to messed up economy where large companies can (and have) bought up media, where they can focus the less wealthy on unimportant topics like these.
Again, there is much to improve. But we in the West have ore equality, we have less concentration of money and power, and more media freedom than in Russia, China, North Korea, Iran, and most other countries.

The article is about Belarus - potentially at Russia’s order - trying to destabilize the West.
Inequality in Europe is much lower than in other regions and countries. I don’t reject migration (especially as I live in a country that isn’t my own), but this here is another issue. Russia, China, and other countries (where no one wants to flee, btw) are using this to destabilize Western democracies.
Europe needs a different migration policy, but on its own terms. Malign states are using migration to sow division and incite hatred among democratic societies, in parts by using far-right parties like Germany’s AfD - which are supported, again, by states like Russia and China.
So what has that to do with the fact that Russia lures Peruvians to its military and sent them to the meat grinder?

I fully agree. My opinion differs only in that I think China has always been fully on Russia’s side.

I am not so sure. They use it certainly also for marketing, but these hacks are real I would say. It’s practically the same in China, just the narratives are slightly different. But the AI hype and the intention to harm others is the same.
I hope it will take similar measures to effectively enforce rules than ban the import of goods made by forced labour, such as Chinese EVs and other products.
