minus-square@Dasus@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkEnglish3•28 days agoI always found “hikikomori” very amusing, because if it was slightly different, and written “hikikomero”, it would literally mean “sweat closet” in Finnish (hiki = sweat, komero =closet) , which is a very apt concept for how lots of hikikomori live.
