It’s like someone set it to make the stereotypical '80s movie. It has surprisingly good cinematography and a soundtrack by Tangerine Dream.
Like most '80s movies, it has some things that have not aged well culturally, so be warned. I don’t think it’s too egregious, but it’s definitely of it’s time.
